Day 16 - End of transitional period, 4/28

The huge milestone today is that Gingersnap can hear. I yelled something across the house and he startled. So we have officially moved into week 1 of socialization.

This picture is from yesterday, but I didn't take a single picture today, and I didn't want to have a post with no pictures. And I didn't want to miss posting today because it is the last day of daily weights and ENS. I will kind of miss weigh-ins. But not ENS. I don't like making puppies stressed, even though it is good for their development.

Day 15 - Puppies are Toddling!

They've got their little legs under them! This is the trigger for putting soft toys in with them, although they still don't seem interested in anything other than mama and sleeping.

Today we gave them a little giraffe that they ignored. But they are growing and developing by leaps and bounds, so maybe tomorrow they will show more interest in the big purring cat stuffy we offer them. I'm also starting to find wet spots so we are changing their bedding more often.

Snickerdoodle had an organically stressful event today, so I skipped ENS with him today, but there were plenty of snuggles.

Day 14 - 4/26

Butter allowed a neighbor to hold a puppy today.

My sister sent me this incredible collage for my Facebook ads.

ENS completed in the morning.
