The puppies had their first non-family visitor yesterday, and Butter wasn't overly bothered by it. I'm sure it helped that our friend gave Butter ALL THE LOVE before she ever approached her pups.

And then, of course, Gingersnap joined us for supper at the table tonight. And rode back to the Whelping pen in my shirt.

Completed ENS at the dining room table today. Here are weights! We are approaching the end of daily weights and the beginning of weekly.

With the puppies in the transitional stage, I'm on the lookout for them to start toddling. That will be my cue to start giving them toys and other new experiences.

Tagalong's eyes are starting to open. At this stage, it's important to keep bright lights away from their new and sensitive eyes.

I walked around with Snickerdoodle for a while because he was really crying and crying. Eventually I figured out that he was cold, and I adjusted the thermostat. (We normally keep it at 68, which has been fine so far, but it somehow got down to 66 today!) I figured that was enough stress for today, so no ENS.
